Traditional X-rays and innovative CT scanners both use X-ray radiation and rely on the same basic technology. In addition , they’re both used in medicine to check for illness or injury in the body. However, there are a number of important differences between them. X-rays take snapshots which are analyzed individually , but CT scans give us a more complete picture of the body , the rays are moving through the body from different angles. Doctors still prefer X-rays for searching for simple things, like broken bones, but for brains or other subtle damage to the body, CT scans are more effective. In addition, X-rays can be taken from almost any angle or position, but for CT scans the patient must lie down and pass through a machine. This takes longer than X-rays. Still, some of the newest CT scanners are quite fast and they save a lot of lives because they examine badly hurt victims so completely and quickly.
The woman faces a choice between accepting an advertising job in another city and entering family business, with an eye to someday managing it when her father retired.The first choice offers her immediate financial independence ,since the starting salary appears to be quite high. It also give her the chance to live away from her family for the first time in her life. On the other hand, choosing to work his father would make the family very happy. furthermore, it almost certainly guarantees that she could be running her own company within few years, probably while she was still 20’s. This last point is the deciding factor for me in making my recommendation. Even though the advertising agency’s offer is attractive, the possibility of her advancing to a high management position soon is very low. She’d probably been working very long hours in an unfamiliar city. On the other hand,by taking her father’s business, she can be in a position to carry on the family tradition and have authority to make meaningful decision much sooner.
